About Scott
Scott

Spouse
- I've been married to the girl of my dreams for 25 years...and she still loves me!

Kids - Susie and I have 4 kids. We had them in two sets; older (23 & 20) and younger (13 & 11). The only thing that has really aged me is teaching the first two how to drive, also known as when your life flashing before your eyes goes into reruns.

Pets - Jett is our year-and-a-half old long-haired mini-dachshund. He does tricks! Lie down, roll over, sit up, bang (play dead), fetch, stay, treat on the nose, and dance like a fool!

Testimony - I lived pretty fast as a teenager & after many car wrecks and near misses I finally understood that the Lord must have something in store for me or I'd be dead. Since then I have been working out my salvation with fear and trembling. God’s Word says Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, so I'm trying to be faithful in studying and praying without ceasing. Learning to love like Jesus!

About Sam

Spouse
- Carlos. My hero. Mighty Man of Valor. He runs his own ad agency and BBQ's the best steak you've ever tasted!

Kids - When I married Carlos, I also married some pretty awesome kids. Anthony (studying to be a pilot), Cameron (basketball genius like his dad), Carlise (pretty and creative girl) and Desmond (loves slot cars and can race with his eyes closed.) I thank God for answering my prayer for children in such an amazing way.

Pets - Clyde the Dog!! He's part Border Collie, part Golden Retriever. A rescue pup who runs with me and is (sadly) not allowed on the bed. (Our pastor said if this was the only area of disagreement Carlos and I had, we were doing pretty well!)

Testimony - Jesus is awesome. I was a mess. When I started in radio (at a mainstream station) I met Scott. He was the first person I ever knew who lived his faith at work. When he prayed out loud in front of me, I almost freaked out!! After he and Susie invited me to their church, the Bible started to make sense. I got excited about this God who became a man and went through so much pain for us. I had some sins that I didn't know what to do with. He took them. I've tried to be obedient ever since. I love life with Christ!!!!

As Heard On Scott & Sam
Walking Tall

Walking Tall
Remember Buford Pusser?  The movie Walking Tall?  Well, there’s a real life “Walking Tall” officer on the beat…his name is George Bell: He’s a 7-foot-8 inch tall Norfolk sheriff's deputy and is being recognized today by Guinness World Records as the tallest man in the U.S.
To answer the inevitable questions:
Bell wears size-19 shoes, pants with a 43-inch inseam and shirts with 45-inch sleeves. And yes, he did play basketball, in college and with the Harlem Wizards and Harlem Globetrotters show teams.
